Today I was needed to call to one of my clients. Due to the highest Mobile cost I preferred to call him by using the Skype. As I knew Skype is the best free call provider on all over the world and there are a lot of Skype users in all over the world. Microphone Testing on Skype

I just installed my Skype software which I downloaded from the Skype.com and I started my experiment with Skype. As I am quite newbie on this I called him for testing this services but it shocked me. I was hearing everything what he was telling but he was hearing nothing what I was telling. It was a disgusting time for me.

I was thinking “what the hell is going on my microphone or speaker so that he can’t hear me?”

Later I wanted to get rid from this problem. Suddenly I found a useful option on Skype which is Echo/Sound Test Services which is a built in service by skype. It is a great tool for testing what’s the particular problem one can face. It’s located just above all of your online contacts.

To check your microphone or speaker is working or not you can just press the “Echo/sound test services”. It will automatically call to skype. A robot will give you the further instruction. She will say you to start a speech after a beep. And your 10 second conversation will be recorded automatically.

When you will hear another beep from then Skype will repeat you what you have said. If you are able to hear the recorded speech then it is sure that your Microphone is working correctly. If you can’t hear something; it’s your bad luck. You haven’t yet configured Skype correctly. Either your microphone is damaged or your microphone volume is too low.

Just fix this thing to solve this microphone problem. If you can I hope you will be able to talk with your dear one soon.
