How To Log In Windows XP PC If I Forget The Administrative Password?

It is the most occurred problems for the Windows XP users. The people who are lazy enough to took their administrative password on any notes or papers; they often face the “Password Forgot” problems.

Well, here I am giving you some stepwise direction to retrieve the forgotten password or creating a new password to log into your computer.

1. Start your pc and keep pressing the F8 button from your keyboard. Press the F8 Button repeatedly to open a screen with some options.

2. You will get a list of options and find the “Safe Mode” or “Safe Mode with Command Prompt” options.

3. Now press “Enter” to the “Safe Mode” or “Safe Mode with Command Prompt” option.  The built in Windows Drivers will be loaded. Wait until a new Welcome Screen is opened.

4. There you will find two accounts. One is your pre-made account which you can’t open due to Password Forgetting; and another new account exists there named “Administrator”.

5. In the Administrative account give your Username along with typing “net user + your user name + * sign”. For example: if your computer username was “Shamim” then type “net user Shamim*”. Here ignore the ” ” (quotation) sign while typing.

6. Now change your password to a new password according to your choice and press Enter. Again give your same password (in order to confirmation whether you enter the right password or not) on the new box under the previous one and press enter to confirm.

You are supposed to log into your Windows XP now after creating a new password or retrieving the previous one!!
