Good but how about human translation? Sorry but Non English people do not like sites with grammar mistakes and cultural errors. Think first. Because you would not like your site to be badly written, would you? Also if your tags and your keywords are not in the right language, you waste your time (free translation tools) or your money.

i always use the translator machine in wordreference.com, besides if you don’t find the word you are looking for, there’s a list below where people might have added new words, or a discussion forum for that word of phrase, you name it.

Shamim,

I have a WordPress website with a homepage that is basically a categorized list of bookmarks. I want to place an Internet Explorer Add-on link for a language translator for IE9. Do you have a recommendation?

Thanks,
Thomas

Well you left out babblefish.com

It was a language translation site before babelfish and Google were even registered. Now those giants find it necessary to bury babblefish from the search engines by redirect any thing that has babblefish in the search phrase ( try searching – babblefish language translation) the search results blatantly redirect to babelfish.

This is because they are scared and are huge companies who feel they can do what they want, using unfair search tactics… They are obviously trying to kill the site or at the very least bury us.

You can verify all this by looking at the alexa trafic ranking site

http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/babblefish.com#

and trying the search your self.

It is not surprising you did not know of it… but it is the first and a great translation site. Babblefish.com offers much more than the Yahoo babelfish translation site and was the first translation portal ever. Please check it out and let me know what you think…

Use the Google search engine and put – babblefish language translation – or any thing with the word babblefish in it. You will see how they have been stealing traffic from babblefish site. They put babelfish results up and insert a small link to the side saying are you sure you want babblefish… blatantly showing babelfish results.

This is a sure fire sign that these guys are running scared from babblefish and have resorted to use unfair tactics to try and bury the babblefish.com site in search engines… Babblefish was up and running in 1997 before babelfish and it was trade marked in 1996 a full year before babelfish was conceived…

As of this month babblefish gets over 4 million hits a month – but only 19%
of our traffic is from search engines… Imagine what the numbers would be if they were fair.

This is a testament to babblefish.com and its quality and service. To get that many hits considering the search engines underhanded tactics. This means 80 % of the hits are by word of mouth.

So please be fair (unlike Google and yahoo ) and include it in this list…

Thank You in advance for your help.

I like more this free online translator, because you can ask a live translator translator or native speaker, if you don’t trust the automatic translation.
